November has been a busy month in Year 3!
In English we mapped the story of 'The Stone Age Boy' and wrote our own Stone Age adventure stories. We focussed on adding exciting adjectives, adverbs and conjunctions to improve our descriptive writing skills.
In Maths we have been working hard learning our 3, 4 and 8 timetables! We've been solving word problems using multiplication. We've also been learning about the different types of angles we can identify in shapes, we loved finding and marking the angles with lots of stickers.
In Science we've been looking at the different forces which are all around us and we've been experimenting with magnets. We've also been investigating friction and made predictions about the amount of friction on different surfaces.
Our Creative Curriculum lessons have taken us through the pre-historic eras of the Bronze and Iron Ages. We've recreated our own Stone Henge masterpieces and described what life was like in the Bronze Age. We've enjoyed seeing how people lived and what their homes were like.
