Class Blogs 2017 - 2018
Please see below our learning blogs from the academic year 17/18
Today 5HC and 5JP have been exploring characterisation through role play. The children have really enjoyed bringing the story of Journey to Jo'Burg to life and exploring some of the issues faced by different communities during Apartheid. Click on the link below to see some of our amateur dramatics!
Another fun afternoon for 5JP learning new print techniques at Barrs Hill school.
We enjoyed our MFL week this week by visiting a French beach and learning lots of useful French phrases and names of things we may come across. We practiced with our partners and matched up words with the correct beach pictures.
Fun was had by all in Year 5 on our Explorer Day! Children explored our new topic for the Summer Term - Anglo Saxons. We researched in different zones; art zone, book zone, tech zone and our archaelogical dig area where we handled original Anglo Saxon objects.
Silver Home Learning!
The children have chosen their SILVER home learning tasks for next half term. Children can choose from these tasks and bring them into school when complete. We will be sharing the learning in class at the end of half term.
